In the summer of 2022, after months of pouring his heart into a church building expansion project, Pastor Shiggaion found himself worn out and in need of answers. Sitting down with his pastor, he admitted, “I don’t know why I feel so tired all the time, and it’s not just physical exhaustion.” In response, his pastor suggested, “Maybe it’s time to consider full-time ministry.” With these words, Shiggaion’s spiritual mentor offered a parting piece of advice: “You must focus intensely, and the Lord will guide you!”

Even though Shiggaion was already serving as a pastor, these words struck a chord, prompting him to embark on a personal quest to understand God’s plan for his life. Over the course of a year, you could find him behind the scenes in the media booth, but privately he was engaging in prayer, fasting, and quiet contemplation to hear God’s voice. In those everyday moments of seeking, the Lord gradually unfolded His plan, revealing to Shiggaion what steps he should take and what purpose awaited him in full-time ministry.

Faith Global Ministry was birthed out of those moments and is what you see today. Everyone you see involved in Faith Global also heard and had a tug from God to come alongside and pull on the oars together.
